Last Week In The CTM

To start off, I had the flu this week which was supa great. Not sure how I survived that because I still had to go to class and everything but tudo bem

Also mom I tried tylenol pm last night because my body hurt because of the flu and i woke up for like 3 hours at 2 am and I have never felt worse. I literally couldn’t sit still, it was like I had taken 10 of those 5 hour energys. I looked at one of the side effects and it said insomnia so I’m hoping that was the reason because i honestly felt like i was possesed by something, i was running up and down the hallway, doing yoga, anything because i could not sit still. It was torturous but eventually went away. One of the boys gave me melatonin in case it happens again and i’m not going to take that unless that happens again don’t worry. I’m  not gonna take tylenol pm ever again, worst experience ever! but other than that, great week! sad to see all our friends leave, but that’ll be meeeeeee in 6 dias! opa

Okay so it is officially my last week!! We are the big guns here. I'm not sure when I will be emailing next, could easily be in two weeks from Brasília. IDK how that is going to happen or how that will work out but we shall see! I can’t wait to leave and just get to the field because I think using my Portuguese all the time will help it a lot. I've totally lost all of my French sadly but tudo bem

The best part of the CTM is probably all the fun people here, everyone tries to help you learn Portuguese.  The biggest challenge was my companhiera because I really had to learn patience. You really can't teach unless you and your companion are one and we finally are getting there this final week at the CTM.  Our ward is just all the english speakers, so everyone I see every day. Sundays basically are just kinda like normal days but sem portuguese. Literally, every day in the CTM is a spiritual high.

I played piano for one of our devotionals AND I get to play the violin tomorrow! I'm actually soo stoked because I miss it, and I’ve been playing it in class for fun.  I loveee that they gave me the violin it's so fun to play. a really old and bad violin but still. They have it to play at devotionals 2x a week and they asked me to play this week. Hopefully I can get my hands on the cello soon.  One of the guys who spoke at devotional was actually my mission president's brother which was so cool! He talked about how serving a mission is like donating the tithing of our lives.

Oh and I get to do initiatories tomorrow!! Last time going to the temple and we have to get up at 5 am tomorrow to leave at 6 because Sao Paulo is closed so we have to go to Campinas. 90 minutes away but totally worth it because it will be the last time I go to the temple for 16 months. I also get to know the day I come home next week so yay!! Maybe I won't tell you and pull a surprise like dad did with his parents.... but I’m pretty certain it’ll be before Christmas.

I really love email day because I can take photos and even though I don't have enough time to read and respond, I read them throughout the week.  So if it seems like I don't read emails, it's cause I take pics and try to respond to as much as I can.

I'm gonna miss my roomies.  We have so much fun, we have these back cracking sessions, yoga sessions, we are basically a quad instead of a duo cause we go everywhere together.

My whole distrito is going to Curitiba Sul except for me, Sister Dahneke and Sister Mcdevitt .  So we are sad because they all will see each other and have cooler weather, while we will literally be sweating to death. My irmao served in Brasília and he's been telling us a lot about it so that's cool to know. Also, I get like two hours to email today haha so amazing, bless my poor sweet companhiera, i had to tell the instrudors that her computer wasn't working and that she had only gotten 10 minutes. They just so happened to have 2 extra computers in the next session so I got more time too! Trials turn into blessings, whaddya know.

We all leave at the same day, different times. My group going to Brasilia is so fun! There is Elder Hendrickson in my distrito, e ele is super smart and cool but he came from Provo. Then Elder Saunders who seems chill, another distrito though and they seem to be doing better with the idioma  (language) because they FSL. Then two Brasilero companhieros who always say OI SEESTER SESSIL whenever I see them in the hall. So we are gonna have a fun time on that plane! Oh we started in field training today, which is so boring, but it's in portuguese so when you kinda blank out for a sec you lose track of everything.

So remember how i fasted the one day we had Brasìlian bbq?? well they finally had it again, the churrasco was AMAZING.

Also I got to see Tanner Mckee in action and WOW. There's a reason Stanford wanted him, watching him throw the football was soo cool. I also got to sew up his tie because it was unravelling and then me and sister sterling had a photo shoot with it so we can use that when he is famous and stuff

We had TRC today, which is where you go and you get to talk to real members as if you are a missionary and you watch it when you are done because there are video cameras in there, So we did that, and it was SO cringey to watch ourselves hahaha I just start laughing in the middle of it because I know I am conjugating some stuff just so wrong but they are sitting there nodding like i didn't just royally mess up or accidentally say a bad word.

also people here type either kkkkkkkk for our version of hahahahha, or jsjsjsjjsjsjs, or huehuehuehuehue. i thought that was really funny

k bye. tchao tchao
