This week ended really well for the most part, we baptized!
Lindenbergue and Yasmin are a father and daughter who are super cute and went to church last week. It was such a miracle because we started teaching them last Saturday, then on Wednesday they told us that they wanted to be baptized. We were pumped, finalized it on Friday, and then interviewed and baptized on Saturday! Never met investigators so gold as these. She is only 8 but was so excited to be baptized. Him too. We were very very happy.
I also gave training this week in the Quad Zone Conference and my hair is now back to normal so that’s good. Was less stressful than I thought, but that’s cause Sister Shields is the best.
Last P’day we found a Ben and Jerry’s store. We feasted to say the least.
This transfer ended and it was really sad to see a bunch of Elders from my zone going home...and then we got the phone call and I found out I was going BACK to Sao Sebastiao for my fourth transfer there. I am now with Sister Salazar who is from Utah, and she has 5 months on the mission. I feel super weird, I have had no Brasilian companions thus far...But she is half mexican so she speaks super super well in Spanish and Portuguese. The mission is weird for sure haha...I am really gonna miss Sister Jarrett, Ribeiro, and Shields. Taguatinga was super fun, but it’s all part of the mission.
Boa Semana
